About Kelly Russo

Creating and enjoying art has always been a passion for Kelly and growing up in the Boston area has given her access to some of the greatest art in the world.

Kelly is primarily interested in landscape as a space and shapes as figures within that space—and using these elements as metaphors for life and emotions. Some of these abstract paintings include vessels. These paintings have a variety of bold and subtle shapes that take on personalities and emotions that show up and have conversations with each other while taking up a dynamic space. I love the idea of a conversation between shape, space, and color.
